Mission Leadership Council and Pretty Nails!

This week was so great! I can't believe it has been another week. I truly love this place!  I am deciding which stories I want to tell you in person when we Skype on Christmas, because some are just too good and aren't the same written. For example, there is this sweet woman in the ward named Hermana Harper.  There are no words to describe her nor any preparations sufficient that can be made to prepare you to meet her. So remind me to tell you about her and also "Grandpa." He is hilarious. He feeds us all breakfast every Tuesday morning. He is so funny!  He knows so much and everyone calls him grandpa. The other day he said that is, "Slap yo momma good." We died laughing. He is out of control, but we love visiting him.

Random side note before I forget, I am writing this with my nails all done.  A sweet lady in the ward Hermana Aragon came up to us on Sunday and said, "When am I doing your nails?" I was stoked! I feel like I haven't done anything nice like that since....well, back when I was doing pageants and stuff. They are a little tricky in playing basketball, but I will make them work. They are cute glittered, colored tips!

Back to business!  This week we did a ton of finding and had a lot of success. There are SO MANY apartment complexes in our area...and our area is HUGE. It is so nice to have so many options.

This week was so fun because we went to Albuquerque for MLC (mission leadership council). It is so fun to be a part of that. There are so many great ideas and such a sweet spirit there. President Miller is incredible. Honestly, he is one of the best men I have ever met. He knows exactly what to say and is such a people person.  His wife Sister Miller is so sweet. She works so hard and is amazing as well. The trip to Albuquerque was so weird, because it felt like I had just left.  Then, when we got there and it snowed the entire next day!  :) Looks like I left just in time. We got there early enough to go see Isabel and Ana!  LOVE THEM! It is so funny too that Sister Gubeli and Sister Fallentine's old companion Hermana Klaus are together. They are a strong companionship. It will be fun, because next month for MLC we will be there on Hermana Gubeli's bday.

Cheesy companion pics in Albuquerque.

A really cool thing that happened last week was the activity at the stake center called "Nacimientos." It was a ton of rooms set up with many different Nativities.  They had games for the kids, concerts going on, food, Mormon messages, movies playing...it was amazing!  Such an awesome missionary opportunity. We really should do something like that next Christmas.

I got to be Joseph. :)

Cute family we are teaching!

There is this kid named Isaac in the ward. He is only six and gave a talk in church...almost 15 minutes long. He is incredible and hilarious....he also gives his testimony every Sunday and the bishop has to tell him to sit down. Anyway, when we asked him how many kids he wanted, he said, “12”.  We asked why and he said, "Porque me gusta jugar!" or, “Because I like to play!”  It was so cute. Anyway, I could go on and on, but we have to go to an appointment!

Love you all tons!
