Two Companions!
Hey family and friends! So many exciting new things happening!
Something crazy and exciting that happened this week is the
tri-companionship that I will be in for one week! The new sister is an English sister and I
love her! We served together in El Paso, so it has already been a really fun
couple of days. Oh before I forget, if you want to email me next week do it by
Monday, because that is when our Pday is.
The terrible trio...actually not terrible at all, but we did know one trio that
was terrible so that's what we call ourselves!
We had a beautiful miracle with Olivia this week. We had an
appointment with her on Wednesday at four and we knew that the branch
president, who is amazing, was going to come out with us that night. He does it
monthly. We couldn’t decide who to go see. We could have had a set appointment,
but just felt like we needed to keep it open and decide that night with him. It
was such a blessing because after our appointment with Olivia at four, she
expressed some sadness about her health problems (she didn’t specify what they
were, but that she had them).
Anyway, it was perfect we decided to take President Bleak there with
another member in the ward to give her a blessing. Not only is President Bleak the
most personal and friendly guy there is, he is also a dentist. As he was asking
her about her health problems, she explained to him that her dental problems
are causing problems in her stomach. Then he went on to say that he would do
her work for at least half the cost. It was so amazing. We talked about
blessings and the priesthood. It was just amazing…and then she came to church
this Sunday. J
She is progressing a ton.
Deiri and Brandon's baptism from two weeks ago. Such a beautiful night.
Carlitos is getting baptized in about two weeks! :) And now we are
teaching his mom regularly. It is super exciting and fun. I am seeing the hand
of the Lord every day in His work. I love it! I wouldn't trade this for
anything!
LOVE
YOU ALL!
