Transfer News

This is the last transfer news that you will ever hear from me….ya ready?  We are both staying! I get to die (or end my mission) here in Alvarado Park! It is the best thing ever@ J And my baby (Hermana Venegas) is killing me (or she is my last companion). We have weird lingo as missionaries. Everyone kept saying I was going to bullet, or go somewhere else for just six weeks. I am so glad I get to be here. They will be starting the temple class next Sunday, so I am not sure now if they will be done by the time I leave. If not, we will come back to go through with Ana. J
By the way, she is just doing so great. On Saturday we helped out at a member’s baptism and Ana gave the welcome to the Primary. She is so cute and is doing so well in her calling. Her son Isaac has changed a LOT since last year. It is crazy what regular church attendance will do for kids. Anyway, we need to find her a cute returned missionary who spoke Spanish on his mission. She is so adorable! So please be on the look-out. I am going to have her come up to BYU Idaho to visit and will have some dates lined up for her.
We had a great week for finding new investigators! But, we are still struggling in finding really solid people. Olivia is still as strong as ever. They were going to have her speak in church, but plans changed and now she will do it next month. I am so excited for all of our less actives and their new callings! President Bleak is working on a calling for Olivia; probably a teacher. Other than that, it was a shorter week with the P-day being on Monday, and I don’t have too much else to share but my testimony.

I feel so honored to be able to represent my Savior Jesus Christ every day! I love to see others grow and change in the gospel. The best feeling IN THE WORLD (really, though) is seeing someone who you love choose to grow closer to our Savior. I know that He lives and that He will come again. I want to do my best to represent Him the time I have remaining, because I know that this time is so sacred. I testify in the name of Jesus Christ that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and that Joseph Smith truly did translate it and restored original truths of the gospel that had been lost for centuries. If you want to know for yourself, read it, and with true intent ask God if it was truly written by ancient prophets here on the American continent. I know that our prophet, Thomas S. Monson speaks the truth and in a few weeks we all have the opportunity to listen to a living day, “Moses or Noah” at General Conference. I invite all of you to take part in this amazing work and I thank you for all of the letters, love, and support. I say this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
