Investigator's Galore!
This is going to be short, because WE ARE GOING TO COSTCO! I
am pretty dang excited if I may say so! :)
Highlights from this week:
Definitely Sacrament Meeting. We had five separate investigators come. That might not sound like a lot, but it is more than we have ever had. I was freaking out and crying I was so happy. It was fast Sunday, and I just felt the happiest I had been in a long time so I decided to bear my testimony. It was so neat to see all of the investigators there. It is awesome when a lot come, but it is also stressful. I want to make sure they are having the BEST time ever at church. Members help a ton. They can make it or break it for investigators.
We just received an investigator
who moved into our ward. That same day we received her, we decided to visit
her. We had the PERFECT member with us (Veronica) and her 12 year old daughter
(Jasmine, who is natural missionary) and it worked out so well. They were able
to meet and then the next day our investigator felt comfortable enough to
totally switch wards and come. She is so cute (well both of them are). Ana is
24 and has a four year old. Her sister was baptized a year ago and now she has a
baptismal date for the 18th! So exciting!
Last Pday I finally got to play some bball! I had so much
energy! I might have ran a guy over when
I driving in for a basket- I felt bad, but he totally got in my way. :)
Zone Conference was awesome this week! We did a little role
play thing in the gym and the APs were there. They acted like investigators and
we had to go up and talk to all the random people and make conversations. We
hit up the basketball guy first. :) I had made a really awesome analogy the day
before and it was so awesome to see how really planning and thinking of things
before hand is so vital and helpful.
This week we had our best numbers ever. That is definitely not what it is about, but
we have been working SO HARD!
We found 9 new investigators this week. Most of them were in very unexpected places.
Sorry this is so short! I love you all! :)
